The large display, small footprint WaveSurfer 400 series is now totally portable with the WS-BATTERY. The battery pack provides 2 hours (typical) of battery powered operation
for the WaveSurfer. To prevent downtime, the WaveSurfer is
equipped with multiple battery inputs, which allow for the changing of battery packs without shutting down the instrument, enabling continuous battery powered operation.
The WaveSurfer can now also be used as a portable data acquisition device to save waveforms for off-line processing with another LeCroy oscilloscope or software tool back in the lab. With the separate charging unit, one battery pack can be in use while another is being charged. The battery pack and charger can be ordered as a complete
system, WS-BATT-SYS. Included with the battery pack is
a ground cable to ensure accurate measurements and safe usage of the WaveSurfer when the WS-BATTERY is in use.
